In Tokyo and having a blast

been in tokyo for a week, daughter got married on 14

feb. have been riding with my Sukkari Touring Club buddies around this magnificent country. rode with these

sukkari guys from 1976-1980 while living here when in USAF. FYI, riding an 09 BMW GS 800, so far so good, but not not as enjoyable as my 06 AE or 91 ST 1100 Honda. easy to rent BMWs in tokyo but not yamahas.

Did you run into any traffic over there???

Did you get to split lanes in Japan??

Did you complete a Tokyo SS1000 - Sashimi or Bust???

seen many more scooter,small and large, than bikes. only spotted one kawi z1 900 at a stop light in heavy traffic. guy was a "rider" from the looks of his gear and racing boots.

Colin, here til 26 feb. riding out to Ome and Okutama tomorrow morning at

fussa/Yokata AB around 0900 Satuday morning, then on to Ome and Okutama. On a rented BMW silver GS800. Red and black jacket with black helmet. give a call on cell 909 243 4110.

daughter, not military, married a local and is living in tokyo. I was stationed at yakota 1976-1980. know the area pretty well out west of tokyo but have seen lota of changes in buikding since then,
