Info On These Gloves?

Are these waterproof and suitable for winter wear (40º in alabama) ?

Site does not list them as waterproof or winter gloves, either does the firstgear website.

Why not these instead?

The ad does not say waterproof so they are probably not. You could spray them with silicon waterproofing stuff that they sell in sporting goods stores. 'Camp Dry' is the one I use on my leather boots.

Ad also does not say that they are insulated. I am sure that uninsulated gloves would be planty warm for me down to 40 F but that may be be the same for you.

These are no good, they are both for the right hand and the color doesn't match.

I have a different pair of Firstgear gloves, and cannot attest to thier waterproof capabilities, but I can say that they make high quality gloves. I'd imagine that unless a manufacturer says waterproof, they are not.
