So I've decided to install my Electrosport this weekend and bumped into an issue, perhaps.
Regarding orientation, there are 5 main holes (so to speak) and one small hole. (Thank dog I'm not posting this on Friday.) Is there importance in the orientation other than the wires not getting hit by the flywheel and the getting routed up and out of the case?
Regarding the wires, there are three white wires which I assume should be plugged straight into regulator. Is there any reason to or not to cut off the OEM connector to the regulator and solder the wires onto it? The alternative is to plug the connectors on the Electrosport into the regulator, but there's no waterproofing of the connectors if I do that.
Finally, I assume all three wires coming off the stator are the same and can be plugged into the regulator any way as long as there's one wire per connector.
Thanks as always gang.
