I just downloaded and installed SP3 on my home computer. I have a 1.5Mb DSL connection so the download time wasn't too bad. No problems, installed OK. The download file was supposed to be approximately 70 MB although it didn't seem that big based on modem activity.

Question: My parents don't have broadband to their computer. Is there some way I can download a standalone executable SP3 installation file to my computer, burn it to a CD or on a thumb drive and then install this file on my parent's computer? They have a 56K analog modem internet connection.

Sure. Sleazysoft offers the updates on a disc, and I don't think it needs to confirm a legit XP install for updates.
