It spend a lot of time parked outside in 115 degree temperatures and the hot Arizona sun.
Hot Arizona sun is similar with the Greek hot sun i believe....

Very similar, except the Arizona sun evidently reduces the intelligence of those under its rays...

Well then it's a damned good thing I have ten times more than any of you other idiots around here!

I also SWAG'd that when those screws were applied and twisted and torqued down, they 'loosened' the where black plastic film was applied and glued down.
That right there is the main culprit G. Same exact thing happens to the instrument panel of older airplanes that live outside in the hot blazing sun their whole lives. You just ignore the bubbles and go on with your life. And I do very much agree about what the Arizona sun does to the brain cells. Just Sayin'

When it happened to mine, the dealer said it was a "cosmetic" issue and not covered. I was mostly fine until now I see others got it fixed. GRRR.

OTOH, I didn't replace the cluster, so my bike read accurate mileage. I bought a cluster off eBay that had good faces, took it apart, took mine apart, etc. (Once you're in there, taking it apart is the easy part...)

Thank you all for your replies and all the info!

Especially ''Bustanut'' for his really nice phrases and words ever!

There were a few threads about this a year or two ago, where someone had sourced a white gauge label. If I remember right , there were some cool color combinations available. The amount of work to actually replace it sounds like a lotta hassle though.

Where could we see it if you know..?

There was a German ebay seller who had these listed. Just had a quick look and although i found the link in a post on the forum (search gauge overlay), the Ebay vendor doesnt seem to be active.

Sorry, no longer available. Click >>HERE<< to see what you can no longer buy.

I found it by doing an ebay search on current stuff. I've just logged into the German Ebay and it allows me to buy it (but I didn't confirm the buy) so it should be available. I haven't checked to see is they do MPH dials though. Should be good for Mihalis as his bike will have KPH dials

edit

I've sent him a question about availability of an MPH version and postage

WHAT??!! The white one is bad ***. If I was gonna go through the hassle, I'd go white...Lol.

Sorry for turning you on to a dead product. I really was trying to help. I would think any good sign shop with vinyl and a die cutter could make these things.

I was going to like this to agree with Simon, but I don't like it. I agree with him, but don't like it. Cmon' Skooter, cover up, even the ladies are staying away now!
