IMNSHO, I think you should buy it just so you can tell TWN, "Neener-neener-neener!" :yahoo:

Soooo, that'll become your second-string sport-tourer? Or Deb's new mount? Oh man, that means 2 red bikes in the garage!

I have a chance to buy a '96 VFR in great condition, 45,000 on the clock. I know the owner and it has been fastidiously maintained. What ya'll think?
How much? I can't remember, is that a 750?

And rog is way to classy a guy to go neener, Mikey. He ain't like you and me! :p

Thanks Tim ------------ I think

Yup, is a 750. $2,000

I'm probably worse than you two, just haven't shown it since my last visit to Sac Jail

Ok -- back to the VFR.

$2K....and you don't have it home yet? And Roger, you are the epitome of a true gentleman, especially for visiting those needy prisoners.

I've got a '85 VF500F that I've ridden almost daily in season for a couple of years. What a marvelous bike! It has been and remains almost trouble free and will still get in on when needed. The v-4s are great bikes :clapping:

Erm, Roger, the seating position on the VFR will be a bit more sporty than the FJR. Think about those wrists. Sounds like you need a nice 50 mile test ride....... :D

Actually, no. They are about the same. Too, there's a billion farkles out there for the older Viffers.

And if you find that the VFR is intolerable, you could always dump it on TWN for....ooohhh....$3K.
