Geezer - fork bushings and seals

Wnfjr - fork oil flush, lube drive splines

pista - steering head, fork flush & springs,

EmmtBt - Canyon cages, fuse panel & wiring, I'd like to check sag readings on the GenIII A for education purposes.

FJRPittsburgh - valve check? (need o-rings, coolant), drive splines

TominCA - Suspension pivot service/bearings

Rayzerman - V-Strom shock install.

I checked my stash and will bring a few selected spare parts (incl. bushings if Geezer's didn't come in), coolant, moly paste, tools for above jobs and bookcase.
I'm going to pass on the valve check for now. I would be interested in having the drive splines lubed though.

Hope next weekend is half as nice as this one, whoa, I guess Summer is now officially open :)

Yuuup, TS1 is still planning on coming to this werk/dwink event at Mike's.

Weather may be a question, but the answer to that question will probably change every day until then!

Well.. I got my tent out today and set it up in the garage...haven't used it in years... no issues found:) it's all good to go.

I'm debating on bringing an air mattress or not... guess ill see how stuff packs up.

Looking forward to the ride out and meeting you guys :)

Still don't need anything done on my bike, but am more than happy to help others with their needs.

I'm ashamed to say this in this crowd.. but at 5 hours, this will actually be the longest ride yet for me on the FJR...probably on a motorcycle(although i used to spend all day on my dirtbike as a kid.. that probably doesn't count) I guess I get to see how comfy it really is :)

I was out of town for a week and when I got home today I found the bushings waiting, so I should have everything we need. Still, it can't hurt for you to bring what you have in case I screwed up the order.

I should be there by Noon on Saturday if that is OK.

Damn I wish it was a different weekend. I have my daughter Thurs-Sun.. I would have loved to come up and help out with any electrical stuff. Maybe I can set something up by me some time soon. I have the garage, tools and the space.

Hey guys, I'm still planning on making this.

Expect to do the backyard camping thing.

Don't really need anything done to my bike

but more than willing to lend a hand since

I've probably done it already myself.

Would someone PM me the address?

Do you need me to bring anything?

I just blasted out a bunch of PMs with the address and phone number to this great shindig. If you plan on coming and haven't gotten the address yet, shoot me a PM and I'll fix you up.

Weather for the weekend so far:

I don't think I'm going to make this one..... Have fun kids!
Crap! Didn't get to go anywhere again..... who is going to be the voice of reason, the calming influence on this unruly crowd, and keep the bookcase from jumping on KJ...... sheesh!

I actually put a crappy particle board bookcase out for the trash Sunday night, along with an old TV. The scrappers that troll around the night before trash pickup are usually all over any scrap metal, electronics, etc, but do you know that not an hour after setting that stuff at the curb, the bookcase was gone? TV ended up in the back of the garbage truck this morning, but that sagging, warped piece of crap shelf tickled someone enough to take it home. Go figure!

I've got a HF changer and balancer, and a No-Scuff tire tool. I couldn't successfully make it work, but that says more about my technique and tires than about the changer itself. It was my first attempt at changing tires.

I wore my tires out the other weekend in PA. I have a new set of PR2's that I will bring with me and I hope we can get those put on this weekend along with some extra moly for the drive shaft. Going to replace the road runner horn with a PIAA Sport Horn as well. Please add me to the list Mike.
