Yea, I agree on his chances for survival increase with the gear. I was surprised that they featured a dude with only a beanie helmet. I guess they went with a pirate because he might seem more scary as a mentor and vunerable as a ride without the gear.

Or maybe it's because that's the way most bikers dress.
I agree with everyone, this was a great video, and should be a PSA for all states.

Yep, great video and further confirmation of the need for aux. lighting front and rear and high viz gear to help move the odds in our favor. Agree, should be mandatory driving school video.

Seriously? Some dummy that obviously knows nothing about motorcycle safety, preaching motorcycle safety? 99% of the people I know would shut that guy off in about 30 seconds.

The message is valid. The delivery is stupid.
