Firstly.... I WILL NEVER RIDE AGAIN!!! Well at least until I go get a shower!

How many times do we all say it.... I LOVE MY FRJ1300!

I got a call sunday night from a cousin I haven't seen in 23 years, they had flown in to see her dad in Meridian, MS. I knew they were coming but got my dates off by a week. So anyway I said sure I will be there Tuesday, I have some work to do Monday...

Stock 05, Only farkle i have so far are lots of blue leds under the fairing, front and rear tire wells, video camera mount on the stem nut and the Yamaha touring trunk....

10PM Jupiter FL - Witness signed log book, got gas and away I went!

Jupiter FL to Jacksonville FL to Byron GA to Atlanta GA to Birmingham AL to Meridian MS to Hattiesburg MS. 1034 miles 18 Hours driving time with a 18 wheeler DOWN and blocking all three lanes just inside the Georgia border Hour and half to go 4.6 miles!

But it's done!

That all done with, I need SEAT suggestion from the south Florida folks.... would of course like to sit on a few seat to see how they feel but I have about 32,300 on the factory seat and it just dont get it anymore.

**** Shout out to the only other FJR1300 I saw on the trip... 1 Just near BYRON GA and another about 20 miles on up the road!

Shower time... I feel another ride coming on!!! HHHHmmm Damn... Now I gotta ride back home! :clapping:

It's a nice feeling isn't it. I did mine earlier in March from Thurso (Scotland) to Dover(England) in (at times) gale force winds and snow over the Cairngorms. 1171 miles in 21 hours and am now waiting patiently through the certification process. Hopefully I'll be able to fit that plate on near Christmas.

Does the IBA have a UK size plate back? I know the US licence plate is quite a bit smaller.

As far as I know it doesn't although I have seen a couple with the plate fitted. It will probably need a little alteration or i can take a chance with the law a fit a smaller licence plate, as long as its legible it may pass muster. If not it wil take pride of place on my living room wall.

HOME in Jupiter Safe And Sound. Total trip was 2115 in under 72 hours... Only documented the 1034 for the first level of Iron Butt....

Congrats... yah done good.. very good!

of course, I'm the Candy Butt Association CEO.. so anything more than 100 miles in a day is great!

OBTW, you can remit your penalty fee to the CBA in the amount of, oh, say, $400 USD, to the CBA Pay Pal account....

then, and only then, will you be allowed to join the annual CBA party!

..just kidding of course, don't go looking for a CBA pay-pal account..

just yet..
