I'm not going to NAFO. Who wants to hang around a bunch of FJR nerds for a weekend?
What are ya riding??
Take a look at my avatar...see those two big jugs? It's a limp Guzzi.

Honestly I'm sure NAFO will be a blast, and if I had the time I'd go and be the only Beemer guy there. How can you go wrong with the Colorado mountains and a bunch of like minded riders? I'm saving my vacation time for the Spank Rally and the IBA National Meet in August. Can't ride with you this weekend, but have fun!

It's been a while since I had lunch at the Junction out behind Mt. Hamalton. How about a ride to Livermore via highway - 130 Lick Observatory? Time permitting we might take a side trip out to Patterson and back. We might even take the Corro Hollow road / old Patterson Pass road loop.

I just did the "Lick Observatory" run with Ray two weeks ago to scuff in his new tires... could always do

it again... The Junction sounds good, I was there about 4 yrs ago on my intruder... the road out the back side of the Observatory was great, is there another way

to get to that road?? or hell.. we can do both...

.. 7am my house?? are we gonna do breakfast somewhere??

calaveras road to Vallecitos road to livermore get breakfast ?

Then Mines Road to San Antonio Valley to..................... :D B)

Brian,

The map was a good idea, the Garman was interesting, but I enjoyed getting lost together, we found some neat roads. Weird how the Garman was confused too. To be sitting at the parking lot at Alice's restaurant and have the thing tell us to go left when we could see the road east into the Santa Clara valley over there to our right... just didn't make sense. :uhuh:

Perhaps with the road over Mt. Hamilton next weekend there will be fewer chances to get lost. After all there aren't that many side roads to get turned around on over there.

Now this weekly fun without ME is getting a little old!

Upon my return from this Golden shindig, I really hope to get in a ride with you fellows.

And I'm sure a bunch of the rest of the NorCal crowd will join in too.

"Somewhere every weekend" is a great philosophy.

Have a good ride this week. :D

Brian,Have a look at Morgan Territory Road heading north out of Livermore Valley. I've been on it once years ago and enjoyed it.

Just drag the map around and follow it to its northern end...
