RIDE CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF INTEREST.

Are any of you bed-heads going riding this weekend? I'm thinking about a very early morning ride (06:00) from Cameron Park to Hwy 395 to Tioga Pass & Yosemite & then home on Hwy 49? Cold then hot, then cold, then very hot. Very few stops, except to recharge the saraha cool vest.

So...how many miles is that? about 380

About what time of day were you on 120? Which direction was clogged up?

He went East on 120 from 395.

It's gonna be busy both ways, probably busier westbound

I'm not sure I can go on this one, but you might want to consider 108.

Put it this way... I counted more than 50 cars in line waiting to enter..

How about a bit shorter and backwards? S on 49 to either 4 or 108; over the top and back around via the Mormon trail? Could start a tad later and might still be ahead of most of the returning weekend traffic. Meet spot/time? Suspect you might have done all this either on the open passes ride or via WFO; but I couldn't do either and am up for a shorter ride, and the forecast is for cooler...

I told everyone to leave early because of the weekenders heading home after 10:00 AM. Did you listen to me? Nooooo! :blink: I had a terrible notion that it would be UGLY...so I left Reno @ 0800 and just took I-80 home. I can't imagine how frustrated I'd have been on a 2-lane road. :dribble:

Would have been a good wekend for a ride. Been back one week had it all planned and was really surprised at what happened.

1- wife shoulder operation 8-3-05

2-go to Davis pick up medical apparatus needed after work on monday

3- go take her to a restraunt that she likes for dinner

4- enjoy a good meal and get readdy to take care of her after the operation

5- now the un-expected--- After dinner go home watch some movies about 2hrs latter started having the

stomach achne then the food decides to leave me faster than I took it in about every 30 minutes.

Boy was I lucky, I spent the next 5 days getting rid of food poisoning from the food from the restraunt, not

happy about all the fun I did not have.

6- I am well now and ready to go to work and still pissed at the restraunt and cook

the least I can do is and :lol: weekend rider
