Riding down Auburn-Folsom Road (on the KLR), and there it was, with a "For Sale" sign on the windscreen. A nice clean '04 FJR--8600 miles, basically stock. Asking $7,900. Well, he'd move a bit, I guess. Was it a sign? I was wondering if my wreck, and then OM's were a sign too, so maybe it just depends on what kind of sign I want to see. Then today, maybe another sign? Flashing lights, fire trucks, etc., and a down motorcycle. Seems like the con signs are outpacing the pro ones, but hell, I MISS that FJR, and that '04 was pretty sweet. Hell, I don't even have the insurance check yet and I'm trying to spend it already. This FJR fever is hard to shake, I find.

I'm feelin' it...

Here's what I'd do...

Wait 'till next weekend. If It's still there offer him (what you think it's worth- I always lowball on gut feelin' buys) And don't dicker! Stick to your offer!

If it was meant to be.. It'll happen.. If not.. It's not fate... JMO

ALWAYS listen to your gut. Guts don't lie.

Liar...guts lie all the time. Just like the rim that they are wrapped around. I wouldn't say..."join the club".....I'd say....I feel so miserable without you......it's almost like having you here..............

thanks, bishop.

Mike,, WTF did you do. Did I miss a posting.. You fell off you bike again?? After Skaggs?
What happened??
No-no-no....OLD Michael drove his FJR over a cliff and was helicoptered to Reno where he has temporary residence in the Reno get-well-quick place. There are threads....

Whoopsie-Daisy! Sacramento Mike wrecked HIS FJR in Montana en route to Golden. Gee whiz, Robin, do try to keep up, would you!?!?

Sacramento Mike...maybe you are supposed to be shopping for Old Michael?!?!?! :D

Yes, the '04 is ABS. Don't believe I'd go non-ABS again. But I'm still in the dreaming-about-it stage. Gonna give this decision some time. If you're interested in this one, Bob, PM me. I've got his info.

Just buy the damn thing.

You know you want it.

Do it.

Do it.

Then go for a ride.

Take pictures.

Tell us about the ride.

And farkles.

Mustn't forget farkles...

Mike -- I've ridden by that thing at least a half dozen times in the last few weeks on my way to and from Fair Oaks from Auburn. It sure looks clean, but I haven't stopped. I guess I'll know what happened to it if it is no longer there one of these trips to Fair Oaks?

Just buy the damned thing so I can stop slowing down and craning my neck as I go by.

I've already got one that I don't plan on needing to replace, and not enough room or funds to add another, but I'd definitely not buy non-ABS if it were my decision.

One of my co-workers was mentioning that he plans to get a Suzuki 800cc cruiser bike, and he thought it had drum rear and ABS only on the front. That sounds pretty bizarre to me, but if he's not smart enough to get an FJR, whatever, dude....[narcissism]They're afraid they'll be perceived as worshipers if they copy my choice of bike....[/narcissism]

I'm (buy the bike) not (Buy The Bike) going (BUY THE BIKE) to (BUY THE BIKE NOW) tell (BUY THE BIKE NOW !!!) you (BUY THE DAMN BIKE NOW !!!) what (BUY THE DAMN BIKE NOW !!! (BE SELFISH!!!) :) ) to (THE BIKE GODS HAVE SPOKEN !!!) do...... Some of the guys here on the forum just don't have enough manners to stay out of someone elses business....... :)
