Is the TCS on, or off when the TCS is lit?

Recently picked up a 2014 A model from a local Dealership. Not new to motorcycles, or ST Motorcycles, or Yamaha's however this is my first FJR. VERY pleased so far. TCS light on the display: is the TCS on, or off when the TCS is lit? (I'm at work and my Owners manual is at home before anyone says "check your Owners manual!")

Couple of excerpts from owners manual...reset procedure on page 4-27.

"This indicator/warning light flashes when the traction control system engages and comes on when the system is turned off."

"If the light does not come on initially when the key is turned to “ON”, or if the light remains on, have a Yamaha dealer check the electrical circuit."
