at a fair price. For 2004-2005 FJR. Anyone have a parted out bike with one? Got a bit of a bend on mine during a tire change. Didn't worry about it too much upon original bend. Starting to become more concious of it since it feels very interesting at high speed hard braking. Not sure if there is any other safety implications to it... but I think that I should change her out. (brake change imminent, too)

I think that I have one off my '04 ABS that has been sitting in my garage somewhere since we did the group buy on wave rotors a long time ago. Should I look for it?

BTW, I took TWN for a ride up to the Arctic a couple of weeks ago. Good guy, good friend.

Probably not much issue with safety or damage to HW if you take care of it soon. To make sure there is no safety issue if I were going to continue riding with the damaged part, I would take the bike to some safe back road and try a few hard stops building up to speed just to make sure all works as advertised. NB: you will be wearing the rotor, pads & caliper seals faster until she's fixed.

Cheers,

willy, I've already done some hard, high speed braking with the damaged rotor. It feels... well, interesting. I am repairing it sooner than later. It works... just feels majorly funky.

just don't use the rear at all until you've replaced it. No issue there

much easier than trying to not use the fronts
