Boy, whoever was in the little red car next to the big red semi that got T-boned has to be toast.

There were two cars next to the red semi, the front one got taken to the barrier by the oncoming truck, the other one went into the oncoming truck's trailer. No hope for either one.

I think that is Italian. The references are to cities in northern Italy. The comments are in Italian.

Here are a few comments translated through Altavista:

I would want to remember normally that (and as it looks at to the video) all the trucks are in column in before corsia ..... not us of no violation of the Rule of the Road! with this I do not want to justify NOBODY but I watch the facts of this incident! that for me sure all' driver of that TIR has come to it badly! certainly then x roads or TIR that leading cars and or the propi, sometimes or often and gladly DO NOT RESPECT the C.d.s!
Often the TIR are lead from aliens who do not know the prohibition in vigor and they do not respect the pauses and the rests previewed for law, but this is not for guilt they, but of who it does not execute the controls. The heart cries to think that it could happen to anyone, above all to me covers to who and knows it every day what means to enter in A4… probably that one of BMW could be saved if it respected the safety distances.

E' probable that features of a structural yielding of the truck. This does not remove that l' freeway in issue is absolutely insufficient for l' increase of the traffic that c' it has been from 20 years to this part, and nothing is made in order to put it in emergency! I guarantee to you that in a day any is possible to make single Venice-Trieste in overtaking placed side by side to un' only column of TIR, and when it goes well puo' to happen that all' unexpected one of these goes in overtaking, although us it is the prohibition

I believe that with l' angle-shot with which he has hit tir those guardrail would have been little to make even if it had been the new jersey in concrete since, even if the much most resistant one, anch' it comes demolished to determined angles-shot d' collision and to determined speed… The thing that to me seems is that strange it seems nearly that to the truck it is burst a tire more than a blow than sleep seen the immediate sudden turn towards the guard rail Xanderoby

I do not imagine the feeling of the occupants of the first been involved car, by now stops, than they are seen if it to arrive in full face, for being then crushed between that one and l' other tir. Perhaps it is own hour see again the circulation of heavy means.

the situation of quell' freeway is absolutely scandalous, those guardrail will have 25 years!

But because not c' they were the spartitraffico in concrete instead of those useless ones in sheet? The tir it did not even succeed to smash in them and to invade l' other corsia!

a tir beyond 30 tons launch to 100 km/h even smashes in a reinforced concrete wall as it was butter. .anche se l' armor of the concrete was highest. .lo pulls down like nothing. .purtroppo nn c' it was null to make.

That is tragic!

The only thing i can offer on the safety of the U.S. trucks, Is that they are inspected alot more frequent than other countries. The company i work for inspects our trucks everytime we come into the terminal, Which is at least once a week.

RIP to everyone involved
