If everything goes as planned, a few of us will be in Italy for the GP races. I looked at www.ticketone.it but I couldn't find how to buy tickets. Any info on purchasing tikets would be appreciated. The date of the races is Sept. 2

Our resident Italian and forum good guy, "teerex51" (Stefano) will be home tomorrow. I'm sure he might be able to help. When I attended the Spanish GP at Jerez a few years ago, I found a telephone number at the track's web site. What track is it?

I'm back as promised...

Here's another link for Moto GP tickets

Dang, they don't come cheap, do they?

As for logistics, you may take your bikes to the track. Be aware there'll be millions of them. Public transport will be in a state of chaos after the race as roads will be clogged up for hours and even on a bike you won't be much better off. (Misano lies next to the coast in a popular tourist area and Sep 2 is high season).

You may want to book rooms at the Girasoli Inn (Locanda = Inn) (tel +390541.610724 www.locandagirasoli.it mail:[email protected] from which you can actually walk to the racetrack. But you need to get a firm booking now. It's a reasonably priced hotel and you can't beat the location, that's why it'll be sold out pretty soon.

Also very close to the track is the Ca Bianca Hotel. Slightly cheaper but no swimming pool (you might need it after a day at the track ;) )
