At exactly 7pm this evening. I hopped on the bike and rode 2.3 km to my buddies place.

He came out, unlocked and opened his garage and I wheeled my bike in. I put my right leg on the center stand, pushed it the floor and lifted the big girl up. I then placed a piece of cardboard under the front tire, plugged in the battery tender and covered her over.

We went inside and drank a bit of cognac while getting caught up. Afterwards, he gave me a lift home.

Winter. Sucks. Balls.

The autumn weather here in Boston has been so mild until now.

I had actually put my FJR away for the winter three times already this year.

Truer words were never spoken: Winter-Sucks-Balls! I actually am going to have to put the liner in my Frank Thomas riding jacket this morning and I'm considering putting on my riding pants before going over to Skootsdale, Arizona to have desayuno with SkooterG. We'll be talking about riding to Cabo San Lucas, Baja Mexico to get out of this bitter and biting cold! Fiesta!!!

I will be doing that dance this weekend.

Winter. Sucks. Balls. WSB

WSB- I am thinking that may be a winter signature line.

I've had to put a fleece jacket on under my Cortech HRX the last several days. I'm really not looking forward to when I actually have to zip it up under the riding jacket.

Twist that knife Don, Go ahead, twist it....

I also participated in this horrible yearly ritual. As I sit here and read about all you folks in the warmer weather the temperature gage reads 6 degrees F. There is not enough snow to even go do snow mobile patrol.

+1, well.....minus the "balls" thing

I have this great handwarmer thing going on. Ah, winter is great riding!

;)

Oi, first I park my bike last night, and this morning, had to get mom rushed to the hospital. Home just to grab some breakie and a few things for her. Doc's don't know if it was a drug interaction or a stroke.

The FJR will be there when you're ready, Steve.

I hope your mom is OK.

Oh - and we're hoping to get out for a ride this weekend - weather's gonna be tolerable enough. :bleh:
