Finally picked up the '06 FJR I made the deal on weeks ago. It was stuck at the dealer waiting for a new wiring harness under the recall

It's got 75,000 miles but the PO was a 58 year woman who is EXTREMELY picky about her things and has records of a really good maintenance history.

I pretty excited; too bad it's here just in time for the rains to start.

That's a bum rap. You DID know you ONLY have about 100k miles left before you need some major work, right?

You'll love this bike. Just get yourself some good gear and do what a lot of us Washingtonians do, ride all year. "The FJR loves the rain." Lots of riding in Western WA, & OR and further south. Also, you can often run through the Columbia River Gorge in winter and access the eastern side of these states and beyond for additional great riding. Or maybe you already know all this. :yahoo:

Have a ball!

Keep Going!

Great looking bike! Don't worry about the rain, FJR's love it; get some good gear and go ride it!

Good looking '06 you got there.

Most of us ride year around up here...some good water proof gear is all it takes! ;)

Congrats on the new [to you] scoot!

Cool..... +1

That rig looks very familliar for some strange reason..... :glare:

Yep, it looks familiar. Those silver side panels are not original to this model, but they look nice. I gave mine a gray look when I chose gray leather for my Corbin seat. Enjoy.

What am I missing? Didn't all '06's have silver side panels? Am I just missing the joke?

58 Year old woman huh! I supose the dealer told you she only rode it to church (in every state) :p

Congrats on the new to you bike :dribble:
