Please bare with me as this is a note in praise of the folks at J&M, specifically one of the owners John Lazzeroni. As several of you know Snow White and I had a 60 mph getoff in CO in June...... we're fine, but tore the living Hell out of $2,000 worth of protective gear (ATGATT). The old bike is in pretty bad shape and I'm in process of moving "stuff" over to the new-to-me 2003 I found in GA. (I always liked the fast ones). I contacted John and asked if they offered a check it out service on my existing J&M CB. He said to send it to him and they'd let me know. Well, Friday it was returned, but strangly it looks like the newer version they're now selling. He sure made a friend when he did this and I'd just like to share this with the folks in the FJR community. Needless to say he'll get my communication business.

+1 on John at J&M

he advertises his email address for all to see... I've asked him a question via email numerous times and received an email reply within 24 hours each and every time with satisfactory answers laced with empathy

my intercom volume control knob "jumped" right off my bike's CB onto the interstate one day.

John sent me one gratus when I asked how to get a replacement

I had an antenna show some damage (still worked at the time) and shot a pic and emailed him

Replacement antenna was shipped within 24 hours with his apology for the inconvenience

His merchandise is NOT inexpensive, but it's not "cheap" either if you know what I mean...never had any of his electronics products fail and my CB is almost 4 years old and out in all kinds of weather.

Well, I feel better paying premium prices when I learn I'm getting premium customer service and have a line to the owner who shows he cares about satisfaction

Another +1... I can't believe how much John gets involved with the customers. My experience with email replies was the same... always less than a day.

Quality company, people and product for sure. I have fought with quality issues with other communications systems but not with the J&M. Yes there are cheaper ways to get cb radio, etc onto your bike but in the end the J&M setup is the best value.
