Jalama Beach Run

This is a ride to Jalama Beach Sunday Aug 30th 2009. Woody on the Vstrom, Germaine on her Burgman trike & I met up at the Chevron Located at the beginning of the flick... Thought this was a cool way to start the flick. I found that program from Bing maps. Weather was a bit warm once we crossed the Pass into Santa Yenez valley. Once we hit Jalama Rd we caught up to some folks from the Ventura area on there HD's.

Bahh... you should have posted that you where heading up there, I needed an reason to there last Saturday. My usually weekend ride buddys where bitchn it was too hot that day to go there.

LOL its fun. There is one turn that many people go into a big quick and its toward the Jalama side just before you come over to the beach...Beware i have warned you all now....

How's the Busa shaping up as a camera platform compared to the FJR?

Hey George, how are you... The busa is now working for me... video is up and running 100% now.....so far they are about the same.. it is a bit easy to trigger video on and off on the busa. it is alot close to my hand then the FJR was...

Another great vid, been riding that road for the last 25 years. Hopefuly you had one of there great burgers at the store. When in the area again give a holler there are more tasty roads in the area.

I just did that ride Friday on the 4th. I had to get my bike serviced in Lompoc and rode up to Jalama after the work was done. It was pretty hot reading 95 on my temp gauge.
