Can you imagine the noise when water is spilling down that spillway? Wow, would love to see that

Barb when we were in the generating station the roar was sooo loud! We had to almost yell to each other. We were alowed to touch the side of the turbines. The whole place just hummed!
that's the kind of thing I like to seek out and find......wow

nature is amazing, and the power things like lil ole water has? amazing. Would love to be there at peak spring melt. woohoo!

Bonjour mes amis!

First I just want to say that I had an Awesome time. A tip of the hat to rallymaster Scott for organizing the inaugural "Radisson Romp" That ride back from Chissisabi was as close to motorcycling Nirvana as I have ever experienced(sun behind me, gentle wind at my back, smooth sweeping road, no cops, riding an FJR with PLENTY of gas). We had beaucoup de sunshine while the rest of the world was being deluged with rain and we had surprisingly warm temps 28-30 deg c. I took lots of pics but most of mine look the same as Rob's. I will post some of the ones that are a little different:

Apparently Rob was very creative when he was a kid

Hey Mike it's amazing that we were on the same trip but managed to get differant shots

Nice photos Mike.

It's sad when a wild river "dies"...but I'm not so green to say it isn't for the best. At least you guys went and saw it...those rapids looked VERY wild. I bet the sound was awesome.

BTW, did you guys drink beer on this trip?
