Road conditions allowing, Christy and I are in.

Probably join the ride at the top of Diablo.

Jerry, Jerry, Jerry.... You didn't say what time this craziness is going to start. Well, I guess I could pull an Uberkul and start at Mt. Diablo. I've never been on Hamilton, but I don't think you can get there from where I live in Concord, on NYD morning.

And if I may be so bold, I would suggest Hwy 4 instead of 36 to get over to Tam.

You can show me as a tentative. Maybe the Ubers and I will meet at 10 AM at a local donut shop before heading up Mt. D.

I dunno. Not too early. 9? The route as shown is 200 miles, probably 7-8 hrs including hangout time.

And if I may be so bold, I would suggest Hwy 4 instead of 36 to get over to Tam.

The problem with Hwy 4 is that it's freeway and I'm aiming for backroads. You don't see it in this map but I think it would be fun to explore Mare Island a bit. Also I like the idea of a through road - start in Stinson, end up in Mill Valley. The other two peaks are through roads, not an up-and-back. Besides, I really love Hwy 1. Your challenge, Hans, is to route us from the north side of Diablo to Mt Tam in a fun and scenic way, not necessarily the most direct.

A 9:00 start is kind of late for a full day. Daylight for January 1 is 7:24 to 4:55. Pretty aggressive New Year plans, but if the weather cooperates it's great. Wish I was a bit closer for these festivities. The Mt Diablo to Mt Tam looks possible, Adding Mt Hamilton means you need to be leaving from San Jose.
