Rode the Cobalt Blue hornet into work today. Unbeleivable. Great ride. Even though I had done this almost every day,(April to November) rain or shine, today was great! Through Putnam and Pomfret, Chaplin and Woodstock, Eastford and Willimantic, the roads were dry and fast. No sand, no leaves, no puddles. WOW...When was the last time you heard about 53 degree weather in January? I suppose we'll have snow in April now.

Ride ON!

Weather warm this year, on East coast. So far.

Calling for 65 on SAT. in eastern PA. Guess what i'll be doing??????????????? :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:

F the snow, ice, salt and cinders. Roads clean ,dry and good riding.

Ride on.

Yeah it's been warm here in Delaware too. Supposed to get over 60 on Saturday... Needless to say I'm planning to ride.

Way good riding weather here lately too. Gentlemen, please watch yor a$%, a small patch of black ice jumped right out in front of me yesterday right at dark. An adrenaline rush I could have done without. Rode a bit tentative today to say the least.

Who would have thought it would be so warm in Jan.? Not me, my bike is completely apart in the middle of a farkle session :( Damn weather anyways. :angry2: :D

My brother says it was 20 below in my hometown in alaska. Had to melt the frozen pipes in the house with a propane torch. And he's a beemer fan....say it ain't so.

Hmmmm, I seem to recall a similar happening back in '96. You remember '96, don't you? Ahhhh, yes, nice weather then BAM! TEN FRIGGIN' FEET OF SNOW IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS! Packed the Blazer, hit I-84 west outta New Britski, landed on the left edge of the continent and been snickerin' ever since...

The long-range forecasts I've heard recently are all speculating that 2007 is going to be one of the warmest years on record (at least here in the Canadian prairies). :yahoo:

The weather here has been amazing for several days - totally rideable, and I've seen a couple of guys on bikes. Unfortunately, I've got too many road rash scars all over my body from wiping out on "sanded" city streets (in my 20s and 30s) to brave the roads until after the first heavy spring rain.

I was out Wednesday, this is a coffee stop in Canaan,CT

Ed..... ;)

The weatherman is talking 65 degrees as a high for Putnam County depending on when the sun comes out. There is supposed to be morning rain, but if it dries up early enough I will break tradition and "demothball" the FJR for a ride. Since we've had no snow so far the majority of roads have not been salted or sanded. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Up in eastern Washington, we have had snow on the ground since before thanksgiving. Not real cold, around 30 or so but the damm snow is everywhere. And to top it all off another storm tonite. Oh well, only 9 more weeks and it should be good enough to ride. jr :drinks:

I got my 04 November 17th. After trailering it back, I figured I would just winterize it. I decided to wait, and now I've put on almost 1000 miles since then!

Today was 67 degrees, only catch, wet roads from late night rain.... <_<

What a tease....

Kieth, dude, that was not the picture that was said to have made a good avatar. Pay better attention.
