I have a brand new, never used Large size JC Whitney Trunk (aka Top Box). It is their Garage Pro Model JT928. Brand new, not a scratch on it. Those are a couple of dog hairs in the photos that were attracted by the static of the plastic. The only thing that I did to the trunk was to remove the gaudy "Iron Cross" emblem from the top. I had planned to add a reflector, or some other interesting mojo, maybe a hula girl, or a bobble head Jerry Remy, rather than the goofy looking cross.

This is a clone of a Givi E360 Monokey trunk, which means that the trunk has 40 liters of storage capacity. Will fit my size Large full face helmet and room for some other stuff, but may fit two smaller ones. It is nearly as rugged as the original Givi but at 1/4 of the cost. Includes the universal mounting rack and hardware that it came with, and both keys. The trunk lid locks closed, and simultaneously locks to the rack with the same lock.

Givi E360 trunks sell for over $200 on sale with no mount. This JC Whitney clone sells for $50 plus shipping. I'm asking just $40 plus actual shipping to you. Great way for you to add some lockable storage to your bike without breaking the bank.

I have had a few of these. They work very well and I have been using one on my FJR for over 8 years without any major problem, like it falling off. I painted it to match the 05 color and it looks great. Here is what it looks like

Cool. I like your ingenuity.

I take it that yours is/was the gloss black one. Mine has the matte black / pebbley finish, which may be harder to paint?
