Wow, he sucks. (nothing wrong with a Harley in my opinion; just different).
Clarkson has not minced words over the years about his dislike for bikes. May and Hamster both ride and he always gives them a ration of crap for it.

I've got all the seasons of the current run of Top Gear (there was a Top Gear in the past that ended when Clarkson left and before Hamster and a season one #3 guy restarted it). I also have *a* Clarkson (solo) DVD. IMO Clarkson depends on everyone else to add depth to the show (his solo effort was pretty flat). At the same time the others depend on Clarkson's hyperbolic writing to add flair.

A lot of sport bikers keep both feet on or near the ground at slower speeds...
Ummm, why?

I can see it during a drag race type launch where you expect the rear wheel to get loose.

But for any standard speed launch, why use the "outriggers"?

I'm thinking it could be a couple things.....

As I get older I notice it's getting harder to just lift the legs up to get my feet on the pegs...

...and considering the high position of the foot pegs on those sport bikes maybe they are just using the opportunity to get the circulation going in their legs again.
