Shaun King on this forum had an online radio show, he interviewed John after his Alaska to Key West trip. Shaun posted on this forum and asked for questions for the interview. I responded and was able to get it aired with John's answer.

I never met the man in person, respected his accomplishments greatly. I listened to a phone in interview he gave to a local motorcycle radio show after the UCC record run and saw him get the award torn up at the IBA meet in Jacksonville. funneee. I wish I had shook hands with him. RIP.

Very sad to hear about this. But I am very thankful to those who posted all the pics and stories, and especially the video to allow me to get a glimpse of what seems to be a very unique and interesting man.
