Nice pics...

Only remember that 6 Pack, so maybe I am not antique yet, just a classic...*L*

I love the old Chevy Nova's; 1969 or so. mmmMMMmmmMMMmmm

Memory Lane should be pack with classic cars!

Oh man, I remember in '69 when I was...Oh ****, scratch that. I wasn't even born yet :p . ****, my parents weren't even married yet, but I guess Rad wasn't talking to me; I'm not an 'old ****.' I do however still have dreams about a 65 Camaro SS that would make most women blush. I love muscle cars as much as any 'old' guy I know.
65 Camaro would be a prize, being as they came out in 67. The 65's were pretty much modeling clay. Solid, but lacking a drivetrain, tough to get around in. :p
Haha...That was a TYPO. I meant to put 67 and somehow fat-fingered a 65 in there. I'm really not an *****...Honest. :dribble: The 67-69s are my favorite.

I remember when the Ford Mustang Boss 302's came out... gave the Camero Z28's a run on the drag strip... fun times. Thanks for rekindling them Rad.

Always had Fords. The last two were 1964 427 Galaxies. I know where there is a 63 1/2 Galaxie with a brand new 427 ready to assemble and bolt in. If money wasn't an issue I would have it .

I don't want to remember too much... It makes me sick. I practically grew up at the dragstrip and the racetrack. Later, it was the classic car auctions. Today, we still have two real cars parked around here. My daughter drives the '65 Mustang, but my 440 car isn't running (right now).

But, things are too bad - currently. You can go to Ford, and get a Mustang with anywhere from 300 to 500 HP. Rear-end gears from 3:31 to 4:10. Five speed trannys, that aren't computer-controlled. Of course, it costs $25-40 thou, but what the hell. A dollar's worth a lot less, too.

Or, if you've really got some extra money, you can go to Dodge, and get a little more of the same... Not as much choice for power, and you gotta fight excessive computer-control and the lack of a real rear-end, but there are (expensive) solutions for that.

But... There are no more of those $1,200 tear-***-deal-on-a-used-rod out there, that you can tune and fix and cruise and drag with. Yeah - it makes me sick. Please, no more posts like this.

In high school, my best friend had an old Fairlane. That car was the BEST car for the drive-in. It'd pack 8 kids and had the largest windshield. Was like having a big screen tv...*L*

I, too, have to confess of always being a Ford guy, still am. But in 75, while stationed at Ft Lewis, was visiting a guy in So. Seattle, we went looking at cars. At BBC dodge in Des Moines, there was this low mile 73 Dodge Charger. Black on Black, with gold accents. Had the Appliance mags with Radial TA's. Slung really low and just beautiful.

Before the weekend was over, I had traded off my 71 Mustang Fast Back for this bad boy. 440 mag, auto, brougham edition, after market dual exhaust. I put 50K on that bad boy before blowing up the motor. It would do 150 on the speedo, what a thrill.

Rebuilt it even stronger, then got shipped overseas. Had my dad sell it while I was gone. No closure, saw it sitting at the new owners for years. Have even had dreams about buying it back.

Yea, it was that good.
