Went to the Journey/Def Leppard concert last night here in The Woodlands (just outside if Houston). Great show, they sound great as ever; Journey had a temporary lead singer, Jeff Soto (as the new 'regular' guy Steve Augeri was out with a throat infection) who was excellent and a great showman. Of course, no rock concert would be complete without at least one obligatory well endowed scantily-clad 'concert *****' on the front row that the cameras just happened to catch a few times B) .Feeling a bit nostalgic, I got in line to buy a T-shirt...let's see, last one I bought, 1981, was..15.00; now? 30., 35., or 40. depending.. Holy Sh*t! I'm in the wrong business! They had a baseball jersey style shirt for 90....sure. I was surprised with the amount of teenagers that were there; (they probably grew up listening to it because of their parents) and some of those girls were...uh..I mean....well where were they when I was in high school? B)
Fun show to check out if they come through your area..better take a gold card.
