I rode to work today but would have even if it wasn't Ride To Work day. First plesant day we have had in a while where the temps are <100 degrees AND there is no rain :yahoo:

I see that I need to edit question two to add "Always Ride To Work" as a choice and can't make the change :angry2: ;)

I rode, no big surprise there... but actually saw less bikes than I normally do.

You need another option in the poll. I ride to work every day rain, shine, or other. Only ice defeats me and we don't have much of that here say thank ya.

As soon as Gerauld comes up with a utility/pipe/lumber rack addition for the '06 I will start taking the bike to work with me....

"taking the bike to work with me" makes it sound like a child or a dog...

Yeah....I should have waited till you figured out that some of us ride regardless...rain, shine, traffic....or bad hair day or not. I voted traffic dependant.....because, if it snows in texas....I take a cab....and wish I would have ridden.....them fricken cab drivers scare the crap out of me.

[/serious]The poll is just to note that today is Ride To Work Day, the balance of the questions were to allow the wimps, err, non work riders a bail-out and offer perhaps a little fun.[serious]
Things that stop me from riding to work are: ice, snow, temps below 15° F and salt on the roads. Last week I rode to work on a day that featured 3"/hr rain; hail; a micro-burst and a tornado. Like almost everyone else in the country, this week I've ridden every day in the heat and stifling humidity. Its been hot enough that the plate I put under my side stand pushed through the semi-melted asphalt but I was lucky enough to get to my bike before it went over.

Y'all are welcome to start your own more rationally thought out poll. :p

Yup, just like most days. Unless its snowing, below 35 degs, above 90 deg or torrential rain is in the forecast.

Still, I know I don't ride as often as Ionbeam. Especially in the extreme weather. He's a real nut. An endearing trait in this place.

Hanging my head low... I drove the cage. Oh, yeah, I had to pick up the laundry! Yeah, that's it!

Oddly enough, I didn't see one bike on the way in. Course, everything in Santa Babs is odd.

Picture Mayberry and Hooterville, divide by 4 and then square it. Small town, too much friggin' money and fame. ***** everything up. And yes, I do mean everything!

:****:

I rode in today. Well, I went back home and got my AE at lunch. Pet the dogs. Tried out my repaired farkle. Rode to the office. Now I'm sitting here regretting it. Cause it's sitting out there calling to me. The bike is SO close, yet I have to wait until the end of work to enjoy it. So sad.

If it's above 30 degrees & dry in the morning i'm riding to work, don't mind tossing the rain gear on for the ride home, but don't like to show up at work wet. Haven't started the truck in at least 3 weeks.

Sorry, I never ride to work.

The boss gave me a truck and he pays for the gas.

If I didn't have the free ride and fuel I would ride everyday.

Maybe went I can get the boss to do my job I'll just do that.
