I rode the "Cats and Daks" ride last year. That is until I had to peel off on day two due to a bad front tire. Anyway it was a great time and I look forward to doing it again. I'll mark the date in my calendar.

We spent a week up there last year with another mc group. Roads were great, except the one going to the castle(Whiteface mt, I think.) Very bad washboarded, bottoming out at 25mph. Lots of neat stuff at Lake Placid. Went up the 130 meter ski jump, and actually got to see some teenagers going off the 90meter. The Ausable Chasm is not to be missed. Enjoy.

Well, time has gotten closer. So for all those that are planning to attend our ride this year, we will be posting up local hotels/motels with rates, addresses and phone numbers this weekend.

Like last year, we are planning to do a loop thru the Catskills on Friday (12 June 2009) followed by a loop thru the Adirondacks on Saturday (13 June). Both days will cover approx. 360 miles. :yahoo:

The full itinerary to be posted in the next couple of months.
