Sorry to hear it, Tim. Sometimes they're just out to get you and it's like they know what bad habits we all have. Can you take school for this, or did you do so with the speeding ticket so now this one is on your record. I'll bet its still a point! Maybe a lawyer can get you off with just a fine w/o points.

Out of curiosity is that just the ticket? My last speeding ticket was $45 :clapping: , court fees somewhere around $125

What exactly was illegal about it, 2wn?
Stuff like this is part of the reason I don't live in CA anymore. (UCSB grad, BTW.) The whole time I was there, the cops were always on my *** about some minor offense. One day a cop stopped me for crossing a DY because I clipped the end of the DY as I pulled into the bike shop where I worked as I returned from lunch. No mention was made regarding the fact that the striping crew didn't have the opening aligned with the driveway. The CHP sucks.
Just my opinion, of course.
