Kaoko Throttle Lock

One of my MSF ERC students had opne of these on his 2008 FJR. He said he liked it and it is easier to use and cheaper than Throttlemiester: https://www.kaokousa.com/throttle.html

Anyone else has experience with this devise?

Lots of guys on the Strom sites use them. I still prefer the NEP or Vista Cruise.

I bought one used for the Strom and it works but not with all bar ends. Once adjusted it easier than the TM's on the FJR but doesn't look as nice or dampen any vibrations which there are none on the Wee.

I made something similar from about $3 of stuff from Home Depot. Work fine - long time.

I used one on my Suzuki DL650 Vstrom. It worked just fine.

I wouldn't hesitate to get one for my FJR - it's in the "farkle queue"....

That thing is uglier than TwoWheel's Vista Cruise.

Johnny80S, I just saw one on a 2008 FJR and it looks MUCH better in person than the drawing on the site. It seemed alot easier to "turn on" than TM

I was joking with TwoWheel. I was referring to another thread. The Vista Cruise is simple to turn off and on. You just flick it with your thumb. I had a Madco which was nicer (more expensive) and the quality was great. I put on the TM because I use the factory heated grips and the thumb type locks don't work with those. Recently I put on an Audiovox Cruise control and I really like that.
