Yeah, I'm not sure anyone really Won here. Can you imagine the support Melandri will be getting from the Factory  or should we say Lack of Support. Something like...Here's your damn bike and crew, now don't ask for anything else! Its like you took your Boss to court to win your job back, the atmosphere back in the office is cold, cold, cold.

It will be interesting to see the write ups and comments from Melandri as the year progresses. There was an interesting viewpoint I heard earlier on one of the podcasts I listen to, essentiallly indicating that Kawasaki being forced by Dorna to participate, will create such an animosity that they may pull out for good (or a long time anyway) after this season. I can see that happening.

"Dornasaki" Good one

Oh, I can almost guarantee it. Dorna threatened Kwasaki with a lawsuit if they didn't put a bike on the grid. So Kawi is going to do it under duress and spend as little money as possible.

While you may not be able to win races by spending too much money, you certainly can't win them by spending as little money as possible.

Thanks - I stole it from someone else... :)

I give Melandri about 2 races before he is in full wine mode or tosses it away and is injured. He has a good built in excuse.
