I had to go to Kawasaki website just to make sure someone hadn't mixed up photos. Wow! Pretty darned nice looking for a 250. My wife bought a 500R a few months back; no changes to that one, I see...

Looks nice. The 'ol 250 was a great bike. I might just go buy the old one to preserve...so many people started on that bike it'll be a collector's item.

The increased the price 25%. Whoa ;)

'07 Can ZZR250

The Canadians have had this 250 Ninja available for years -- trouble was: even with historically advantageous exchange rates, it was 'over-priced' for the American market (Americans won't pay $4K+ for a 250 -- no matter how good it is). Note: alu frame, 17" wheels -- note, too, MSRP.....

The ZZR 250 has been available for years in other markets, too.

This new 250 Ninja makes the 4th iteration of a great bike. Thanks, Randy, for the link.

got an 07 2 weeks ago for my 15 year old grandson on a whim, create my own riding buddy, let him learn the pleasures of motor-cycling young. this is really a spiffy little bike, had'nt done my home-work,,, a lot faster than a thought,,,a lot of bike for the bucks. they have their web-site [found after buying] for 250R, and they love them, as we do our FJR's. one guy rode one in the iron butt rally. the only problem iv'e experienced with bike is insurance, geico charged more for 250r than FJR, go figure!!!! switched to State Farm, charge bt cc's still with-in 50$ a year of FJR

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Well, it certainly is the RIGHT color for a Kaw!

I enjoy my Ninjette that I picked-up in the spring. I think the

2008 looks more like a real sportbike, so it may turn off some

people with its cramped seating position. Still, the brakes, single-

swingarm, full-fairing make it way better than my 2007! Looks

like Kawaski is starting to build some nice bikes. :clapping:

250 Ninja stuff: Back, 20 years ago, when these first came out -- I met some friends in the paddock of a local club road race. They had bought one together and were planning on racing locally. I asked, "Is it true that they'll go over 100 mph -- like, 105?" He said, "Ours did -- before we modified it." "Since we modified it we haven't been able to get it to go quite that fast."
