Keeping the Givi open

Is there any way to keep a Givi top box open?

Ditto here. Once opened, I've not had any problems that I remember. V46 also.

I never have a problem with the lid on my V46 staying open.

Same here... the only time that I have a problem keeping it open is if there is stuff bungeed to the rear seat & said stuff is physically in the way of a full opening of the case.

Mine always stays open too. Maybe yours is restricted in how far it opens? I "assume" you mean while stopped and not while moving...in that case, huh!!

My V46 used to close all the time too. I made new "ropes" that prevent over extending and made them about 3/4" longer than the originals, and now it stays open all the time.

Never had this issue with my E52 either.

Sounds like a mounting problem -- that your box is tilted slightly toward the rear. ponyfool's suggestion is a real simple solution and that's what I would do. But I'd also take a gander at how it's mounted to make sure everything looks cool, just to be safe.
