Here are some of the more blistering comments:

"In my mind one of the biggest sins they have committed was not doing anything to help keep the manufacturers in racing."
"DMG has made just .. comical errors in the running of the races. The pace car, the pace bike, the no pace car, etc. It's been embarrassing, frankly. They've made us a laughing-stock of the entire racing community."

"If you were a Japanese executive watching this, would you sign up for another season? Knowing that the market is soft and the sport is very expensive? Adding to that the fact that the U.S. AMA series is a laughing-stock.... Why would they sign up for this financial burden seeing what has happened?"

"We need to go to new racetracks because they are hands-down safer than other venues, not because they hope to one day to be safe enough and not because one section isn't as bad as some other place, or because they already have an association with a car series. If the track is not safe, then we go somewhere else to race - period."

Depends on how you look at it. Racing has been closer than it has been in a long time and the number of different riders on the podium has increased. From simply that aspect, I don't think they deserve a D or F.

But, they certainly have had their share of **** ups this year that could contribute to the D or F grade.

I agree that they are doing a **** job of running the series too. I try to record every race, enjoy the competition, but the organization's not the same anymore. Maybe this year will be a turning point for the good! I haven't seen any of the Laguna races since Fox doesn't show it around here. AT least not on my channels.

Agreed, I was grading the lack of professionalism by DMG staff. The racing has been better this year.
