Well then... Somebody should call the hotel and ask them about their room availabilities for that timeframe. We need to find out so Chuck35 can break off a piece of this in his schedule. He probably won't be drinkin' but, if we plan it just right, we can set it up where he really needs to Pee real bad while in front of Rob's favorite gay bar. Just a thought... :D

Yeah Don, c'mon down and we'll make sure you get in the right bar.

Will do Rob, Victor knows where all the hot Puerto Rican women hang out; PR Senoritas to Papa Chuy Viejo are like kryptonite to Superman, they make me wild and I'll write bad checks!

It is shameful that I have never ridden a motorcycle in Florida, took Son Seth there on a fly in to Disney World and we got to have dinner with RadioHowie. I promised RH I would return on my FJR someday and burn donuts into his front yard and knock over all of his plastic flamingos, still have to do a Florida run! jes' sayin' and nuff said, ese!

You really should Don, even though it only has 11 curves in 318 miles, it still has it's own qualities. The Key West run is definitely one of the best! Vic, Steve, and myself had a blast down there, and the drive is so cool to do.

As far as Vic knowing where the PR women are, well..., he knows more about where PR men hang out. His favorite bar had 1/2 naked men, on the bar, shaking their rolly-pollies. The women are everywhere in KW, the trick is to find the straight ones.

I really enjoyed seeing some of Florida. I have lived in Idaho and Oregon all of my life except for a few early years in Oklahoma, and have always had mountains in my view. Wow, is Florida flat.

I am curious about the little blip at the end of the tape of a FJR stopped with a law enforcement officer behind it. What is the story?

Jer, Yep! It's flat alright. But, We have the good fortune to be able to ride all year long. It can get hot sometimes but, you get used to it real fast out of necessity. I was born and raised in the Northeast. It took me about 5 years before I got into the Christmas spirit when you're wearing shorts, flip flops and sucking down Pina Coladas on Christmas Day.

The best part of Florida for me is that there is 1,350 miles of coastline. You're never more than an hour from the beach, anywhere. Me? I'm 20 minutes away. That means there is an endless line of Tiki Bars on the water that bikes flock to every day. It's like living your life in Margaritaville with the added benefit of being in the Smokey Mountains in a days ride. I'll take that all day long. Come down sometime, You'd love it.

Yes, it's flat from I-4 southwards. Above that, you can find some rolling hills.

Steve and I just got around Lake Okeechobee, heading north on 27, when PoPo pulled us over. Steve thought it would be a great idea to ride in his Teenage Mutant Ninja Warrior underwear. PoPo didn't see the humor. :)

Nah, really I was pushing the Bridgestone 23 GT's to their limit, and the officer suggested I get a tow truck.

We still had about 150 miles or so until home, and I'm too much a cheap *******, so I nursed it back.

I know the feeling LKLD. These were my original Bridestones with 14,000 km on them. Might have got a few more kilometers out of them, don't you think?

Hey Majic, I agree that the water would be a selling point for me and I would love to make it to Florida one of these days. I spend my winters in the Palm Springs area of California and the winter weather is great. We spend summers in Oregon and both areas have no bugs or high humidity. Not sure we could stand the bugs and humidity full time. We have talked about maybe a move to Florida in the future, but those things might keep us from acting on it.

Really enjoyed your adventure.
