Came as a seperate sheet of paper with my Kisan modulator...

(which I installed this weekend)

====================================

NOTE!

New procedure for calibrating Daylight Sensor

====================================

PROGRAMMING THE SENSITIVITY of the daylight sensor:

(Proceedure applies to this model only)

- Find a location and/or time of the day where you wish to BEGIN modulation

* Do not try this in a dark setting

- Turn the ignition ON in Lo-beam then flick the Hi-beam ON (3) times quickly

* This sequence MUST BE started within 2 seconds

- Hi-beam will flash 4 times as a confirmation of the new setting.

====================================

Anyone see a problem here?

You referring to the fact that the headlight doesn't come on until the engine starts?

Except for the part about the sequence must be started within 2 seconds. Need to turn the key, start the bike, and flick the hi-beam within 2 seconds. I suppose it's possible, but still...

No.

Need to turn the key.

Hit the starter, and flick the hi-beam within 2 seconds.

The Kisan doesn't know when you turn it on, it only knows when there is power to the lights.
