KLR650 windscreen suggestions

I think I've become a bit spoiled with the power windscreen on the FJR, so seeing what yell may have come up with for a KLR. I'm at a crossroads with it as I don't want a tall one for times that I'm offroad, but if I've got several hundred miles of highway, I could sure use a tall one. Madstad makes an adjustable one that looks like the best bet so far, but is pretty pricey. Have any of you had any experience with it? I know it is not near as much protection from the wind as the FJR, but how does it compare?

I ran the Cee-Bailey's tall windshield on mine, I will research what exact model/pricing it was. Here is a photo of Señor Martin Osete of Hermosillo just prior to our riding to Batopilas at the bottom of Mexico's Copper Canyon, my jacket is covering the tall Cee-Bailey windshield. It WAS NOT too tall for offroad! JSNS!

Hum,I probably shouldn't have read this thread,because it might just end up costing me money.I don't do interstates on my KLR,so the wind really hasn't been a problem for me,but that 7" ceebailey looks pretty tempting for my ride to Virginia in July.

For more info, windshields are a much discussed subject on the big KLR forum. KLR650.net I'm 6'2" and have the factory tall windshield on my Gen II KLR which is about 4" taller than the standard. It directs the airflow at my neck - not all that good for x-country, especially in the cold. So yeah, you'll need to go taller.

Not my bike....but you can pretty much just fold them into the shape and they will hold. No ironing required
