I can confirm some of Dan's comments about our ride but the one about the lovey young ladies I will claim the fifth.

I had 5 credit cards turned off by Pilot card processing. 3 of them contacted me by text or email asking if the charges are mine and I did confirm by text or email but the cards still did not work. We bought gas at the same Pilot 10 times in less than 20 hours so I guess it seemed a little strange to some.

Pilot food still taste bad at 2 AM even when you are starving, you should always stick to honey buns.

Pahokee police still use K band radar, so don't disable K band on those detectors. We picked it up a couple miles out.

Dumping the clutch still does what it supposed to do even on a RT with traction control. I am not sure I could do it again as it was an accident.

Ha. I bet you see some sights at that Pilot at night. My office is close by and I stop in the day time, but try to be clear by dark.

I don't know anything about different radars, but the Pahokee police are PBC sheriffs. So I would think you could run into that K band radar anywhere in Palm Beach County.

You guys see any deer or just small night creatures?

The credit card thing is interesting. I have long relied on my American Express for long runs, and worried about outrunning logical distance parameters, but it never occurred to me to have a station or chain flag a card. I was a little over halfway through a TOH/SS1K, when I stopped for fuel and a red bull. Store said my card was declined. Tried twice more. Clerk said it was declined. I called AMEX, got an English speaking associate instantly, and they informed me that each of the transactions at the station I was stopped at was, in fact, approved, even though I had not received product and had been told the card was declined. I suspected fraud. AMEX assured me that my card was good, and said they'd monitor any charges arising from that store for 24 hours and let me know of them. I carry multiple cards (the Capital One is a dedicated bike/fuel card for routine drives/commutes), but your experience is a cautionary tale for those of us that may be considering repetitive routes. Or Pilot stations.

. Now I have to figure out what the Keys 1000 is, and when to do it.....
