Has anyone had any experience adding a laminar lip or wind wings to a Rifle windscreen? :glare:
Ionbeam is on the money with his reply in my experience. The only difference for me is that I haven't noticed the buffeting of the stock screen on my bike. I can't find a position that eliminates the turbulence with the screen raised near full travel with the lip on or off the screen. That, of course, is one of the big complaints on this bike. I think if the screen wasn't adjustable, there wouldn't be a complaint.I love my Rifle windscreen but cant find anyone that has played with the lip on one.How well did the lip work on the stock screen?I still have that one too.Did it cut down on the turbulance?
Saeng makes a 'micro swirl edging' like El Toro is describing. The Honda ST1100 had a piece of split clear plastic tubing that snaked around the windscreen...It was incredibly effective at reducing cockpit noise. I never would have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.
I don't have buffeting with the stock windshield, only with the over size ahamaY windshield shown in the picture from my previous post....on the money with his reply in my experience. The only difference for me is that I haven't noticed the buffeting of the stock screen on my bike
