Once again, hard news. My condolences to Larrys family and many fans.
I need a little help. This morning on the way to work, the radio show I listen to in the DFW area used the news of Larrys death as a comedy bit. For some reason they found it funny that "Mr Safety" died in a motorcycle accident. They didn't bother to say what the cause of the accident was or seem to respect that a man had lost his life. They compared the whole thing to "Mr Herpes" dieing of a std. I tried to call in but was unable to get through.

Here is a link to their web page. KZPS Morning Show Perhaps some of us could encourage "Bo and Jim" to apologize for their extreme insensitivity. Perhaps this could be posted elsewhere as other members see fit to increase the responce.

Thanks.
To me there is no apology that can explain why they would even start to think this is funny. Not listening to their show or station ever again and possibly making it known to their management is how I would handle it.

There has to be a lot of people that heard it and felt the same way. Perhaps if they all stopped listening it would send a message that this isn't accepted.

My regards and condolences to Larry and Kin...just sucks. And to Bo and Jim and Dallas KZPS, you guys should be ashamed but since you are in fact subhumans nursing at the tit of a subhuman company, ClearChannel Communications, I could sort of understand...naawww...I cant...you guys suck !

Bobby

I took his course a year and a half ago in WV and you would be hard pressed to find a nicer guy. I learned so much from him. He truely lived motorcycling right to the end.

Godspeed larry. I will miss you and your articles. You left your mark and made a difference.
