Remembering Larry today.

RIP Larry, hope the roads in heaven are as good as advertised..

Larry's guest book soon to expire.

'Political correctness offends me'

Remembering Larry's wife & children. Hope they have been able to move on; though days like today I'm sure are very difficult for them.

I carried/stole his signature line for awhile...now I have something to remind myself to "watch out" out there.

Sad stuff indeed. I miss Larry.
Same here.

I'll never forget the fact that Larry was one of the many FJR buddies to send me get-well messages after my getoff on March 26, 2006.

And we all know what fate was to befall him a few days later.

As with other people on this board I felt I had a special affinity with Larry. While it's my intention to meet these good folks sooner or later, with Larry

I feel I've been cheated of this privilege.

My thoughts go to his family, who has plenty more reason for sadness than I.

Stef

Weird, I was bored at work the other day and started my usual "random thoughts for no reason" session and LaWinter just popped into my head. Why? Beats the hell outta me, I started wondering how his family was. Didn't get a chance to meet him or anything either. Weird, just weird.

Hope you're scraping pegs wherever you are larry, RIP!

We who are left behind, will remember him..... & to his family our respect & condolences....R.I.P. Larry

Since Larry passed, so many new members on this forum. For you, and those who have PM'd/emailed about Larry - no, I never met the man, he was a 'virtual buddy'.. but I really enjoyed his posts, to me he had life in the correct perspective; family, friends, riding, and a sense of humor. 'nuff said. RIP bud.

I just found this. I often think of Larry. He really touched a lot of people here in a very short time. He is certainly missed and I sure hope his family is okay. All the best...

Not sure if any other info has surfaced from the final analysis, but the story I remember was that it was theorized that he had a close encounter with a bat in mid-turn, causing him to lose his concentration. Stranger than fiction, but something that could happen to anybody. Be careful out there, and always try to "ride the bike".

RIP Larry, member #374 here

I remember Larry was really pumped for WFO-5. Physically he never made it, in our hearts he is with us. Ride on Larry. PM. <>< ;)
