Really nice day in the upper 50s. It stayed a little damp and cloudy with sun now and then. One of those magical days to just get out and cruise, did a few hundred miles around WI and back into MN. Fall colors are mostly gone but today seemed like a day of rest where nature was just breathing easy before the real cold settles in.

I almost always ride with a group in this area but today was solo, so took some time to get off and take pics in between blasting around the alphabet roads of WI. Made friends 150 miles from home with a guy on the Triumph who lives less than a mile from me, so we cruised back together. I saw more wild turkeys than people.

Beautiful, Matt. I maybe should have gone yesterday too, but was doing some yard crap instead. I recognize almost all those roads. Hard to beat that scenery. Great pictures, and a beautiful year of FJR to boot! Nice work, Matt.

Looks like you had a great day for a ride with little traffic, have to like that! Spring won't come soon enough!

Nice pictures, except for the 5th one where you have your bike parked on the road after a curve, not so sure I'd have done that  , reminds me of guys who stop with snowmobiles on a trail after a curve or just over a hill.

Nice pics Matt!

You just succeeded in making me homesick, but then I considered your opening

statement "Really nice day in the upper 50s." Those roads were the same roads

that occupied so much of my time riding from Iowa. I think that is why I enjoyed

the CFO so much this year...

That curve was near the end of CR SS.... believe me... there was no one behind me for a long ways.... :D

x2 on Spring!

Yeah, I got in just under 300 miles yesterday. Rode out to the Mississippi river and caught the sunrise from the Iowa side of the river. Then enjoyed a perfect ride up 67 and 52 to Dubuque, and then over to Galena to ride Stage Coach and a few others before getting home by 10:20 am. Temps were as low as 28 degrees, but it was PERFECT with the electrics on and no traffic.

I debated several times about stopping to take pictures, but I just didn't want to stop. I was having way too much fun to stop the wheels from turning.

Great pictures Matt. Definitely some familiar roads and vistas.

I'll have to get out for another ride this weekend. Likely in the 50's again. Winter will be here soon for sure.

^ Thanks Carver the FJR just kind of fit right into that bend/scene.

Tony come back up if you can get the time off next year... rumor is it's going to September, sounds good to me.

Very nice pictures. I sure had fun riding those alphabet roads a few years back at CFO.
Come back when you can. They don't look like much compared to what the west and east has to offer but for my backyard they are pretty fun. The FJR really likes them.

... I'm hoping to get there one more time before the snow.
That would be nice...
Since I'm out of town to a wedding next week, I'm hoping for one decent November weekend to ride.

I just about took your route on Sunday but instead played around town on my Husky TE630 enduro. Your new bike looks sharp. What exhaust do you have on it?

I think I've always taken a short break at that rest stop on the side of Pepin also. Not many days left here in the upper midwest.

Carbon Fiber Leo Vince. Best build I've seen. Pure carbon fiber shell, no seams. Awesome texture, no heat.
