Leaf Nation flags were at half mast today as the Maple Leafs were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs once again. On a brighter note the Maple Leaf players were happy to learn that the early spring in Ontario has allowed the golf courses to open early.

No Stanley Cup since 1967 and counting!!

I am a fan Michael. Not only of the Leafs but, hockey as a whole. It drives me crazy when I go to a game in Toronto and the seats are filled with corporate suits who haven't paid for their own tickets in years. They talk constantly about work and usually leave by the end of the second period. if you go to a game in Ottawa or Buffalo where the leafs are playing the Leaf fans outnumber the home team. THOSE are the real leaf fans.
