Ya know, I likes to watch them perfeshunal racin riders on TV, cuz once-t in a while ya larns sumthin' useful 'bout motersickle ridin'. Sumthin' you kin apply to daily ridin' on the street.

Ah lernt sumthin' t'day watchin'g them furren little bikes, them one-two-fives, they call 'em. They was runnin' a race in Spain, way yonder 'cross thuh oshen, and this feller crashes on just the second time around the track. (They goez 'round lotsa times.) This feller started from 1st place, but got passed by three other fellers. Then he crashed.

What ah lernt from his crash was that if'n yer 'zaust pipe falls off'n yer motorsickle, try nots to runs over it!

Guy's name is Marc Márquez, and the silencer came off the exhaust pipe while hard over in a right turn and went under the rear wheel. It was not pretty. He's got a dislocated shoulder and a second-degree burn on his left side. (Friction burn?) He's a "maybe" for the French round in three weeks. Story here, along with a video you can see if you're a paid member of the MotoGP site.
