Leather Jacket

Leather, Leather,Leather! Ok I finely decided I'm gonna get leather jacket, and pants down the road. I'm gonna get the TourMaster. What I need help with is, Perforated or not?

I live in Calif. so it doesn't get that cold here, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the Perforated leather, has anyone had experience with leather and knows the difference it would make in Summer and Winter?

According to ToutMaster the Perf Jacket does not really let air flow in, it lets body heat out, the non-perf jacket of course doesn't do this. this would be great for hot weather, They seem to think in calif. it would be a great year round jacket(comes with a removable liner!)

I think the perf jacket would be the best choice for California (North or South?) as it would give you more options. As far as it being a good HOT weather jacket, I'm not too sure about that. Warm to cool or even the edge of cold would probably be the range of this jacket and that covers a lot of months in all of California. So the basic premise of an all-year-around jacket is fairly true. Hot weather (90 degrees plus) jackets are best left to the true mesh types IMHO. B)

I use the same leather jacket summer and winter. I has zippers in several places that unzip to expose mesh for ventilation. It also has armor in the shoulders and elbows. I crashed on my last leather jacket and the sleeves did not fit tight enough around my wrists and the sleeves "rolled up" during the crash and exposed my forearms which resulted in road rash. This current jacket was made for me by Z Custom leathers.

Got the Tourmaster Magnum perforated tonight, Wow, what a nice Jacket, very well built, Lots of Jacket for a Great Price! Fits Perfect..Can't wait to see how it splatters bugs... :haha:
