I just bought a Power Chip Drive Torch
I'm not a big fan of LEDs. My favorite flashlight was the PrincetonTec® Tec 40
I still prefer a a more yellow light to the bright white of LED, but in my unscientific backyard illumination test, the Dive Torch will do just fine. The brightness is equal to the Tec 40 and the number of hours of burn time is 140 hours for the Dive Torch vs. 5 hours for the Tec 40. the size of the Dive Torch is also about half that of the Tec 40.
The positives far outweight the negatives.
Still, I don't like that bright white light...
