And it was already painted?Comparo-shop the web-sites with the part #. I forget which one I used when I needed a right mirror, but in the end it was like $109, delivered. Here's one for $106+https://www.partforyamaha.com/pages/parts/v...d/2/Yamaha.aspx
Yes, hence the different part numbers for each year-model FJR mirror. They come pre-painted to match your bike. And it was already painted?
YamahaPartsNation.comThanks all for the help. I looked @ the FZ1 idea but, as Checkwrecks said "didn't like the looks " I didn't as well. And I think Ahchiu said in one of his posts -- you had to make a 'wedge' so the mirror would sit right.
So I think I will look at some of the web site you folks had mentioned.
With much appreciation,
moto

I installed FZ1 mirrors on my 2007 and I did not have to use a "wedge". Looks are not as important as safety and the FZ1 mirrors give an open view of what is behind you (not blocked by elbows). Thanks all for the help.
