I messed my left saddle bag up pretty badly in a parking lot get off so I'm looking for a replacement in good condition. It doesn't have to be perfect, but I'd like one in pretty good shape. Black Mettalic

Dude...If it's just scratched and not cracked or broken, PM Gerauld and send it to him. Everyone that has done that says they can't tell the bag was fixed. It's a LOT cheaper than a new bag.

+1

That's probably what I'll end up doing, but was trying to avoid being without a bag for any length of time.
I bet that even with shipping, you are without a bag for less than 2 weeks. I know others have said his turn-around is fast.

Besides...It's the left bag. Who ever uses that bag anyway??

 That's the bag I store all my just-in-case stuff in. Just in case my battery dies, it rains, I get a flat, zombie apocalypse...

Actually, I just talked to Gary and will send my lid off in the next few days. He's the man!

I'll be in China anyway, so it'll probably be back before me.

I store my ICE stuff in the right bag...so I'm not on the road side of the bike when stopped.

Good point. I reserve the right bag for my helmet on normal days or my overnight bag for work when I'm only going to be gone for a day or two because it's convenient. Never really thought about the "side of the road" scenario.
